Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at the replacement master cylinder assembly for your Dexter disc brake actuators. Now this part here will replace the master cylinder in your Dexter disc brake actuator. This kit will include all the components shown here, includes the master cylinder. The rubber grommet up front here has the master cylinder cover plate with the gasket installed. And if you notice, the reservoir cap at the top is a nice recessed reservoir cap.
The very back you can see it includes the electric reverse lockout solenoid and also the orifice connector here for your brake line to attach to. Now this is designed to fit most Dexter disc brake actuators in the following series, A-60, A-75, A 84, A 160, A 200, and the XR 84 and XR 200 models. The master cylinder itself is a nice durable aluminum construction, gives you increased strength and corrosion resistance. And the recessed reservoir cap is nice 'cause it prevents any damage from something hitting it. But that should do it for the review on this replacement master cylinder assembly for the Dexter disc brake actuators.

Perfect fit on A 60 surge brake trailer (Marine Master). I was able to pressurize and flush the brake lines before installing master cylinder with a lower unit outbound motor hand pump, which saved A LOT of time bleeding the brakes. New Master cylinder is working perfectly.
